Air Ambulance Technology was founded in 1993 by present owners and presidents Egon and Dorothea Kuntner after a „Management Buy-out“ from the Austrian Metal AG (AMAG). Air Ambulance Technology was, and still is a family run business now in its second generation. Daughter, Nicole Kuntner-Hudson joined the management team full time as CEO in 2014. To date, Air Ambulance Technology is proud owner of over 30 „Supplemental Type Certificates“ (STC’s) for many different types of aircraft. Every day the company strives to manufacture and install superior EMS, SAR ,MedEvac and VIP interiors in both helicopter and fixed wing aircraft. AAT goes the extra mile to develop the best aircraft interiors and offer its customers the best service.
Our home base
The home base of AAT is located in beautiful Ranshofen in Austria. Here the products of AAT are developed, produced, installed and maintained.
The AAT heliport
When customers visit AAT for the initial installation of their aircraft interior, for the maintenance of components or just drop by for a coffee, they can expect their own heliport.
